We made it to March! I shake you warmly by the hand. Those of you in the Northern hemisphere eagerly watching the buds on the trees, I feel you. This has been a long ass winter. If you are new here, hi! Welcome! I use these monthly broadcasts to sum up all the corners I whisper to- so if you're ever worried you missed something, you'll find it here. If you are just here for the functional woo, you'll find it at the bottom of this email. Otherwise, grab yourself a tasty treat and sit down, stay awhile. You're very welcome here. On the last dance:Right this very moment, the waitlist for Cycle 30 is enrolling (if you're on that list, you'll have that email in your inbox!). If there is room, I'll open up the remaining spots next week to all of you. This is the LAST CYCLE I will ever run of The Audacity Project.** **If you don't want to get marketing emails about The Audacity Project, just click here and you'll be added to the "no TAP emails" tag, no harm no foul. Otherwise, there's no action needed, I'll be in touch next week. On the Patreon:In the Belly: the truth about right nowA post in honor of Imbolc. Also, if you were ever looking for Mel's recipe for Sandwitch Bread, it's in there too. And technically, I posted this yesterday- which was indeed March, but it's a spell relevant for tomorrow's Blood Moon, so I wanted to make sure to include it in this email: A Spell for the Blood Moon:And some helpful talk about what to do with all that anger you may or may not be feeling (she says, to the sound of angry bees). In real life:I'm offering several IRL events coming up- keen to see as many faces in person as I do through a screen! The first is this Thursday, when I'm presenting on one of my favorite subject: How to handle freelance income! I'm excited to give you some intel that has saved my own sanity. I never, ever get stressed about paying taxes anymore! The Well is always free to attend- we do appreciate it when folks RSVP, which you can do here. Practical Empathy: How to use your gift without losing your shitI'm thrilled to be bringing this best-selling online workshop into a live room for the first time. This is for the empaths, the HSP folks, and anyone else whose emotional field is like a giant sponge. This ability is not supernatural- it's very very natural. When you have a predisposition for it, it DOES tend to get stronger with age as you may have noticed. I have some excellent tools for managing it in ways that feel really really good. I'm offering this as a series of three workshops- you can come to one, or come to all three for the best results. It's designed to work either way, and to give you some time to get the skills into your body before the next workshop. Each workshop is $49.87 monies to attend. All workshops are held at Evolve Academy of Conscious Learning. The dates are:
I would love to see you there! If you want to be added to my local list to be reminded of IRL things, you can do that here. And without further ado I give you: Woo Corner for March:Sometimes I wish we were all in the same room. Just all of us. So when we get to this part for Woo Corner, I could just look you in your optic stems and let you look back into mine. And with that moment of understanding, we could howl at the moon, put on some safety goggles, and then smash bottles symbolic of the patriarchy. So on that note... Woo Corner is usually led by a healthy amount of my own intuition, but this time I turned the faucet on full strength. I ended up grabbing three different decks, and here are the questions I asked of each one: And here are the pulls, so buckle up: Card 1: Name this moment for us. Say it out loud. The Aeon. In most tarot decks, this card is called Judgement. As this deck was created by Crowley, he felt the word Judgement carried too much Christian baggage to fully convey the meaning of the card, so he called it the Aeon instead. Basically, the cards are trolling us again. I asked them to "name this moment" and they were like "it is indeed a fucking moment." So maybe equal parts trolling and validation. No, you're not imagining things. Yes, it really is that big of a deal. What a time to be alive! One thing about The Aeon that is always true- a choice is being made. A step is being taken. This is not a card that rewards stillness, it is a card that demands conviction. Look behind you. There is so much that is outside of your control, but there is still MUCH that you CAN control. Be brutally honest about what is in your power, and then make your choices. If nothing changes, nothing changes. I'm not saying change everything, but one definite step is being called for. Card 2: What energy will best serve us? What medicine should we call on?Dragon. Speaking of staring into optic stems, I was not disappointed to see this card. This is also the first card I ever pulled from this deck when it was gifted to me by sister Sarah. This card represents what the author calls "inner fire" or "sacred intelligence"- the part of you that is beyond your ego understanding of yourself, and beyond your animal body and survival mode. The real you, in other words. There is a part of you wholly unconcerned with the mundane worries and problems that clutter up our brains. That part of you just KNOWS you, all of you, inside and out. "It is almost as if we are traveling with a great friend inside of ourselves." I think this card is an invitation to remember that part of ourselves, and invite them to the front of the class. Bring them forward. Ask them what they know. Let them see beauty easily- it's in their nature. Even with so much ugliness, it is our nature to see beauty. Let it be there. I actually pulled this as the secondary card in January of 2025 as well- I'll quote my favorite bit here: It's utterly transformative, even in its subtlety, perhaps because of the element of surrender that's present. It's not an explosive experience, to surrender to your true nature. It's more like an exhale, or a relief. The world is the same as it was before, and yet everything is different because you are seeing your essential self clearly. And it's already ready already. You're already at the table. You've already begun. Card 3: Anything else we need to know?I'm delighted that the bird offered to us today is a puffin. Just one of the cutest damn things that have ever drawn breath. The text reads: if we examine ourselves closely, we shall see that we are an excentricity of Nature.
not necessary to existence
each an instrument of the impossible
arranged particle by random particle
each singular but altogether the same.
However.
We are not victims of circumstance
as long as we shape ourselves
decision by considered decision
but make outselves at home
in the mysteries of being.
Here's my favorite part: "we are not victims of circumstance as long as we shape ourselves." There's that reminder, again. What is in our control? It is more than we think. We have more power than is immediately apparent. We have power over ourselves. We can shape ourselves "decision by decision". We can own much of our lives. What is ours? So here's to you, and here's to me, and here to what is indeed a fucking moment. Don't go back to sleep. xoRachel |
